Has anyone observed a difference between their OTB vision and their Online (2d view) vision? Do you play better OTB or Online?

Yes, this a very common problem. The best cure is using a real board when playing online and/or training as often as possible (or the reverse if your affliction is preferring 3d over 2d).

it's a lot easier to see the patterns on a flat 2d board, and there is no mistaking the pieces. I rarely get to play OTB, so this is a concern of mine.
