Chess.com ratings have NO bearing whatsoever on any other ratings from anywhere else. There is no good way to say "if you are around this rating on Chess.com, then you should be around this number USCF."

I dont think you quite understand the question. neondg is asking if the two rating systems are similar. i.e if I played a certain number of games and was then rated by both chess.com and USCF, would they give me the same rating..?

the way these ratings are calculated is the same, however, a 1300 rated player in a USCF OTB tournament would most likely be much stronger than a 1300 rated player here on chess.com. More serious player tend to play on icc.com or FICS. Chess.com is more "family friendly" so it is watered down with lots of weaker players. regardless, good chess can be found here, but it is usually located 1700+ (in my opinion). so the answer to your question i would say is chess.com ratings are generally higher since lots of people here are overrated in the eyes of USCF OTB tournaments.
USCF uses Glicko?
Are our ratings exactly the same as our USCF ratings? Are they higher? or lower?
Can someone give some insight on this please?
