The site does experience lag from time to time. One thing you can be sure of is that when it happens, you will see a whole bunch of posts like yours.
So far, I haven't seen any other players complaining today. (August 11, 2025)

Earlier today yeah it was fine but since like 1 it's been lagging out every once in a while

No lag on my end. You said that you cleared your cache and restarted your phone, making a new connection, so I'm not sure what else you can do.

Today I have been trying to use chess.com, weather its mobile, on the web, on my phone browser and the site just keeps freezing and not loading.. mostly when I try to make a move in a daily game or play a bot. It is nothing wrong with my internet either because every other app is working perfectly fine... and my friends arent having any issues. I cleared cache.. restarted my phone.. my phone is not old nor was the computer I turned on... its just... not working for me. Everybody else's devices are working perfectly fine with the internet too. So there is really nothing thay should be causing this. Like I said earlier it's only happening when im trying to make a move in a daily game and eventually after clicking to visit a club or even forums.
