Overwhelmed by the "learn" section

Hi.

I'm an old guy but beginner player, and I want to improve my game by studying a bit. However when I look at the "learn" section of this site there are so many options that I get lost and feel very uncertain about where to start and what order to do things in.  "Tactics", "Lessons", "Videos", "Openings", "Drills", I have no idea!

So, is there like a suggested curriculum somewhere? A link of lessons and what order to take them in? Because the lessons are not ordered by rating or logical progression as far as I can tell...

It actually makes sense to start with some simple endgames. Fewer pieces can mean fewer complications and fewer distractions. Also, it will be easier to understand tactics and middle-games if you already know why a won endgame is won, and why a drawn endgame is drawn.

That's more confusing, why all the clickbait crap?

Why can't you put it on one page? I remember a day I used to sign up for a course at college and I could see all the professors listed and course outlines on one page.

Can chess.com do this, or are they yellow?
