Pandolfini's Ultimate Guide To Chess by Bruce Pandolfini:please review this book

While asking some of the best chess books for players like me (below 600 ratings) to some of my best friends in chess.com like @kindaspongey and @RussBell  they said many books but in common they said this book (that I have mentioned in title). Even I thought this book can help me raise my chess skills and ratings when i saw its contents.But reviews of people who have read it would be more helpful.If you have read it then please answer my question that can i improve my chess skills and ratings with this book?I am waiting for your answers.

Pando is a very nice guy. He's also a very intelligent man and a good teacher.

This book is somewhat unusual in its presentation.  It's very clear and lucid but it uses a kind of Socratic Method - a conversational style - of presenting the material  It goes from simple to complex and if you are comfortable with the style, it's an excellent book in my opinion.  Here's a page so you can see what I mean:
