What i personally find hypocritcal about some that play chess here, is there are those that will come unglued when it comes to even the slightest hint of cheating, but feel it is completely acceptable to be a rude inconsiderate ass towards there opponent.
Apparently the thiougt is its ok if im doing it but its not ok if its being done to me. Like i said...very hyopcritical.
As long as they recognize the fact that I [or anyone else] can, and will, go elsewhere, if treated in a way, at my sole discretion, I deem unwarranted, we have a mutually satifactory agreement that reinforces the notion that love is a two way street.

Well, there's a huge difference : being rude is stupid while cheating is stupid and illegal.
I think this topic influenced to unlock that one you are tallking about. I just don't understand what is the big deal to talk that much about these acusations. P.S. Sorry for my english, I learnt it from movies...

It's a public accusation, even if un-named (and the handle in discussion is easy to find).

Come on Batgirl, there was no objective reason given, more of a kangaroo court. Chess.com highlights means to report such matters avoiding the need to upset an opponent during play.

i am paranoid but fail to see how cheating can be done here except by account hacking etc.
are people referring to real cheating or by using aids to help with move choice sort of thing? (which i just consider to be immoral and unhonourable)
there are no exploitable bugs in this are there? thought this site to be established long enough for bugs to be eradicated.

I'm talking about the fascinating discussion you are upset was locked because it involved the subject of cheating. Since there are constant accusations of cheating in the cheating forum, that might be a good place to discuss the issue of paranoia and whatever else you so much wanted to discuss in THAT thread before it was locked.
