It was uncomfortable to witness and made me feel sorry for the kid. So much that it affected my concentration the next game.

THIS PARENT BEHAVIOR NEEDS TO STOP. Don't be a monster!

It was a tournament, first round, yes he lost quickly but he didn't play so bad. Next I see his father outside talking to him with exaggerated authority saying things like "I didn't teach you to play like that, and that's not what we practiced" The poor boy cornered against a wall,.under a tree.

Have you seen this behavior? Did you bring it up to TD?

I'd hate to be the son of psycho parent like that. DONT TRY TO RAISE THE NEXT WAITZKIN, JUST LET HIM/HER HAVE FUN.

this happens when you know your kid has talent...im sure coaches feel the same...they just don't say it

Ok but how does it help to put that kid in that kind of pressure? Imagine his next game: he must've been thinking "I gotta win this one or pops gonna kill me."

come on, Completely unhealthy.
