From what understand, Morphy was a bit of a freak. And nobody does freak better than Johnny.
I remember a movie once about Morphy. i think he was played by Farley Granger but it was so long ago I could be wrong. Does anybody remember it?

I think Cage should stick to action movies. I think Matt Damon could play it he appears to be intelligent.
We established in another thread that Morphy was part black, so I think it's offensive to cast a white actor to play him.

Morphy retired at the age of 21...so it'd have to be a young actor...if it's a film concentrating on the years when he played...
