A good friend of mine at the chess club I used to play at....who was very good at pawn structure and endgame told me that as a child he was traumatized by another kid who took all his pawns and teased him...guess it helped him later. Has anybody else been chess traumatized and by which pieces and how? My own brother used to do it to me with knights, so I am very careful of them.
