If you wish, you can set your Online Chess settings so that losses on time of your opponents are not claimed in your free games. That way, your opponent will not forfeit on time but keep suffering in his losing position until he is mated or finally resigns.

What do you do when you have someone who is in a completely losing position and wants to run out the clock? Is there any way to stop that?
