I kind of have the same dislike for people who have an open seek, and then won't start the game. It just sits there all day with no moves at all. Do you get penalized for too many aborts because of that?

I agree. I've got 5 drainers here 'waiting' on the chesstime app. 4 games I've just got into the accendancy with some pretty challenging moves. The last game I've been playing someone who has just exchanged queen's as the opening exchange of the game. Which as we know sets up a tedious game without any delays. I've managed to get decent position an now the drainer has cleared off for an hour plus.
Like the players that say 'have a nice nite' in conversation then let the game time out.
