There are a couple of players iny local club that probably have more time on their clocks for increment games after the end than they did at the starting in 80+% of games. This is in rated tournament games OTB
Some people just like to play fast.
People who move extremely fast in blitz.

Masters are good at slow,rapid,blitz and bullet chess.Do you think that's a coincidence? Regardless of the time control,there is a certain strengh in play.Thats more like ram in computers; how quickly and how accurately you can calculate.Okay bullet is another world among those but still,It is matter of choice, how do you want to practice; more games and more variations , or less games more effective deep analysis through the game.Some times when you play fast you do more effective moves without overthinking.3+0 is more like playing for the clock but with increments force you to play the best move.

These players often play surface-level chess. If you calmly play a few deep positional moves, they can quickly drift into worse positions — especially if you don't try to "fight back fast."
It is practically same getting chomped on at blitz or during a slow game you make a positional mistake.It is all about overwhelming the capacity.

Just calmly utilise the time to plunge them into a positionally unstable position. Then they would be unable to get out of the mess they've created by moving too fast
Some patterns you WILL recognize quickly. That's why you do puzzles over and over.
I think it's funny that you let players who move quickly influence you so much. No one has to slow down the pace of the game just so you can "exchange thoughts and ideas". That is what Daily chess is for. Statistically you should be winning most of these games because you are taking your time to make more calculated moves than your opponents... and if you are beating your opponents because they play quick and thoughtless, what is there to complain about?
What is with these weird people who play 3 2 chess - ie. with increment, so there is no need to be worried about running out of time - who try their best to play almost the whole game while still having 3 minutes or 2 minutes 30 left? Why are there so many of them, playing like bots.
Who are these people - kids? Do they think they look really cool and like they know what's going on by moving so fast? If they're so fast and so good then why don't they either play bullet chess (with increment) or play higher rated players?
If I want to play chess, I want to exchange thoughts and ideas on the board and find the best move, not just putting out any random move that doesn't drop a piece and isn't positionally lost. Like what is the point in playing like a headless chicken.
Obviously the logical response is to simply use your time as normal, and make your best moves, and I try to do that. But human psychology doesn't work like that, and I often find myself moving really quickly also to these players as if it somehow proves I can also do that.
Then they're often really good at tactics, so if you get into a tactical mess and they start using up their time, they calculate every variation like a bot, and just trying different combinations as quickly as possible is not really interesting, it's just checking - does this work, does this work, does this work, it's unpleasant and stressful.
Again, I know the right thing is to just continue as normal, and I do sometimes, but it's like someone getting in your face and being aggressive, I think people should just play normal.
