Speculation time! What do you predict for these outcomes?

  1. A perfect chess program (32 piece table base) vs you. 10,000 games. (5,000 as white, 5,000 as black).
  2. 32 piece table base vs. Magnus Carlsen. 10,000 games.
  3. 32 piece table base vs. Alpha Zero. 10,000 games.
  4. 32 piece table base vs. the best computer humanity could design, if we threw all our resources into it for the next 10,000 years. 10,000 games.

My guesses. (I'm ~1870 USCF.)

 

  1. Maybe a handful of draws as white.
  2. A hundred (maybe more?) draws.
  3. ~1,000 draws, from both colors.
  4. ~7,000 draws (assuming chess is fundamentally a draw).
