You're right, it's pretty fishy. Also as far as I know there are no permanent mutes by the way. Also most mod actions are automated e.g. muting for cursing. Add the fishiness you already mentioned to this and your persecution + antagonistic attitude "just sayin, this site is terrible" and it's really hard for me to take you seriously.
This site doesn't handle criticism very well. :)

in live chess and cannot speak to a soul in private chat or in live....i was silenced for telling everyone in main hall that magnus told me his opinion....what is wrong with this website???
