"A little criticism"? You must be joking, right? Gambitking went on a week-long tirade against Silman, and was quite rightly booted for breaking chess.com rules. Thumbs down on this one.
Petition !!

I agree with helping gambit king I stayed up to date with the whole gambitking thing all he was doing was helping someone out as best he could and he did it cautiously without breaking any of chess.com's policy it's starting to look as if things don't go there way the delete you so they won't have to deal with it. I've started noticing that more people have been posting problems with chess.com which I admit still not a lot but there slowly increasing problems with chess.com and I do hope they give hime his account back. Since this topic is only toward helping gambitking if after reading the first post no one agrees then don't post simple as that.

Hm, so If you do not like something, do not bash it, but let it be and walk you way. Live and let others live. What did GKing do again?
A player on chess.com who's user name is GambitKing has been wrongly kicked off chess.com just cause he posted a little criticism against a chess.com columnist. He did not break chess.com rules in anyway by say anthing out of hand. I am starting a petition to get enough people to sign (a post saying " I Agree" ) to convince chess.com that they are doing wrong and to grant him back his account. Please support.

I think that Mr. edrobim58 should start the petition by giving a short story of what happened. Not all users have time to know about what is happening in the Forum. And… what is a columnist and what does he (she) do?

fyi gambitking did it again and here is proof , he just love controversy.

So you don't want to hear any dissenting opinions? That seems hypocritical

I didn't understand the hostility toward Silman. I was aware of him as a player and chess writer since before there was a chess.com. I like his writing style, and I thought he was a prestigous addition to the group of columnists here. If management has policies designed to protect talent, and if gking was warned to discontinue his activities, I think that their action should stand.
