He's not 25 anymore - he's more than double that. It's virtually impossible for champions to try and recapture the magic of their youth, especially when he hasn't played for so long. Age takes its toll. The brain slows down.

GM Seper has a good article on the matter. Me, I think Kasparov is still a powerful force to be reckoned with. And that's why he needs to return. Shake off some more rust and fight on.
And who knows, maybe he will win a tournament.
I wish more people join in on signing a petition...

Thank you. I didn't count the votes but I can give you a rough estimate of around 50 - judging by the number of posts and taking into consideration that I have thanked all those casting their votes.
The petition is quite tiny now. I suspect if we, by some miracle, send the numbers to the stratosphere, we may generate enough buzz to make news. 
He's retired. But I'm looking forward to the 2085 KvK Rematch - (First to 6 wins).
