I have the same problem white Knight.Why didnt Chess.com just start counting ten min as rapid but leave the ratings alone.what i do now to see the strength of my oppo i play in ten min games is i check his blitz rating not his rapid

SNUDOO. You have not seen the ratings of the last 7 games I abandoned. And you have not explained why my 1336 rating has not changed after the four wins.
Do not undo, this helps balance things a lot, and although you don't think it now, it well help overall.

horselover....my “rating” shows as 1336 when I start a new game, and does not change....win or lose. Please explain how this new system of rating is helpful!
Why not just match time ranges of FIDE? Does it not have official time increments?

horselover. Thank you for your patience in explaining this. Coincidentally, just received message from chess.com: “Just to give you some background info on whats happening... When you finish a 10|0 game, rather than having the rapid rating displayed, you're still seeing your blitz rating. As mentioned previously, those 10|0 games no longer count towards your blitz rating, thus giving the appearance that your rating is not changing. Our developers are working to correct this as soon as possible.
As I mentioned before, no progress towards your rating has been lost due to this issue. If you are concerned about any particular game you've played over the last couple of days, please let me know what your opponent's username was and I'd be more than happy to look it up and ensure you received points.
However, horselover, I am still mystified as to why chess.com is implementing this change. I truly believed that chess.com provided the very best App on the internet until this tinkering. Why the change? Who benefits? The announcement of the change essentially admitted that 90% of the players are content with the App as is.
just revert it... no one asked for that update....
