PGN files for books

I apparently have issues with algebraic notations.  They're easy enough to read, but I find that following them on an analysis board is tedious work.  Whenever I reach a section in a book with a good sized paragraph of algebraic notations, I zone out and find myself playing flash games on the net several minutes later.  I'm thinking that getting pgn files of chess books would change all that by allowing me to quickly go through these sections with algebraic notations.

I currently have Silman's HTRYC next to me on my desk and collecting dust due to the reason mentioned above.  I'd like to read through the entire book at least once, in part because I want to improve my chess, but mostly because the book was not cheap.  However, I can't seem to find the pgn files for the book online.

Does anyone know where I can get a hold of the pgn files for HTRYC (and other chess books)?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.  Since almost all of the games featured in the book are from real games, I don't know why it didn't occur to me to just look into game databases online.  That was really helpful.

I use the free database scid. Almost as good as chessbase, but free.
