If u have any book with any positions from middlegame u can just think and plan ahead in head, then chceck your analysis with book. It's working in my opinion.

I am relitivly new to chess and chess.com and was wondering what is the best way to practice planning ahead in games and the best way to plan ahead? also how far ahead to plan ?
