play a friend

how do you play against a friend on the desktop version 

it only gives option to play against computer?

 Uh no... You can easily play your friends but you have to choose either Live or Daily Chess and go from there.

Or you can just click on your friends name and challenge them....

ny friend is sat next to me so not online 

is there not a way to set so both players are human like you can on the phone app?

 I second DeirdreSkye's suggestion, but you can sort of play on the analysis board, although that's not what it's really for.  I suppose if you went into Settings and set Lines to 0 so neither of you would get hints from the computer.  Then cover the overall analysis score with a small piece of tape and I guess it would work.  I'd rather use real pieces and a board myself.

on the mobile app you can set it so both black and white are human input.

and we dont have a chessboard available lol 

i had that problem if you click on profile you can only challenge daily-- go to live chess-----> and custom challange ----->then type name of the friend in -----> hit ok

i just added my friend and then i sent him a challenge and it appears he's offline but he was sitting next to me

I am helping run a chess camp. I need a way to project a chess board on a big screen and move pieces using a touch screen. I would also like a way to use the backspace key to "undo" moves and go back to a previous position. Do you have any suggestions?
