Is there a way to play chess writing the move instead of playing it? I know not on Chess.com, but does someone know an app or website able to do this? It is in order to improve visualization
I wish there was an app that works like this: The app is constantly hearing your voice; You say your move, the computer hears it, and says his move, without any screen of the board. So you could actually play with "someone" physically
c'mon chess.com, listen to your people.

Such an "app" exists.
It's called "prison."
White: Knight to King's Bishop 3.
Black: Pawn to Queen 4.
You can play chess with Don the Con. Watch out, though, he moves the king too far when he castles queenside. Rules are not his thing.

Although this is an very old forum, i would like to adress that this is an option on lichess. You can turn on move by notation in the settings and then you can use yuor keyboard to play chess
