Cute meme and I've gotten B+N checkmate many times over the years. In about 8 years of playing, I've probably gotten this endgame in about 10 games, but half of those were unecessary (like underpromotion), whereas the other half were actually the only way to win.
I'm glad I've learned it well, but I can see why others choose not to study it. I will say though: this checkmate is difficult to learn and it rarely comes up, but it really does teach coordination of pieces really well. Even if you don't get the checkmate too often, it teaches valuable endgame skills and it's also a confidence boost to know you can do this checkmate if it comes up.
btw, here's me solving this checkmate in the chess.com endgame drills:

I studied it once and then forgot it, but statistically, I should have encountered it by now. They say that in 5,000 to 10,000 games, you should have to play it at least once in your favor.
But no, I’ve actually never had to play this checkmate.
Maybe, since I was a spectator in an official game where a chess teammate had to face it, he somehow "stole" my statistical luck.
Conclusion: Studying this endgame is useless, and if you ever get it, you’re just going to drop half a point. It's not worth regretting not having studied it.
