Played a game with 100 percent best moves. Stunned
I have rolled people over and been rolled over, but even then I don't remember every move being the best move before.
Though I suppose for titled players only playing best moves is nothing special.
Presume that you mean "Instead of 4. Nxe4, 4. Qh5 is a lot of fun".
I hope you plan on sending your opponent a Christmas card, and i would throw in a Thank You card too.

"how often do we play games like this"
We do so every time our opponent lets himself get rolled over. ![]()

Well Jayesh, there are best moves and then there are best moves. Your opponent played the opening innocuously enough, but the main thing is that every move you played--with the exception of 9... Bg4--was a more or less standard developing move. The kind of moves they call "5-minute moves."
Am I griping because you played good strong moves and won the game quickly? Of course not. I just think that having a computer rate you "EXCELLENT" doesn't necessarily mean that much--it usually just means that you managed to avoid hanging anything too drastic. Sure, it's frustrating to overlook stuff (especially when you're starting out and it seems to be something of a habit)...but chess is a lot more than just avoiding error. I would much rather see somebody play a combination that's not quite sound than always choose the safe, unimaginative path.
