Here's the game Wink

Seriously though, why is WCM even a real title... I'm an anonymous patzer who just plays online, and I'm better than a WCM at bullet.

I know bullet isn't a very accurate representation of chess skill, but I feel like players who are given titles by FIDE should at least be better than the average online player.

The CM and WCM titles were designed to encourage players who had achieved a certain level of success in over the board play.  I don't know what the qualifications were for the title but normally achieving a certain minimum score in more than one FIDE tournament is required for any title.

If you look at the list of all WCM from Mexico, one was a 10 year old girl whose FIDE rating was just 1465 when she qualified by coming in 2nd in the Under 10 Championship.

As soon as you achieve a similar level of success as this 10 year old girl, you can post the title next to your name too.

I guess it probably was that girl I was playing against. Don't get me wrong, having that rating and coming in 2nd in the WU10 is very impressive (much more than I could have done at that age!), but I just think that giving titles to players who are rated so low kind of diminishes the prestige of a FIDE title.
