Finding tactics in time trouble
Players 100- 2000 - what do you think your biggest weakness in Chess is?

endgames :')
Imo endgames are fun.
No waaaaaay. Endgames are scary, most of the time they make no sense to me :') I try to checkmate asap and end the game before reaching endgame. Middle game is the real fun part

To lose by time in a won position, which is probably about half my losses.
just play longer games then...

I like the 5 min blitz games best, but yeah, my rating is 300 points higher when I play 10 min.

2200 here
If I have considerable time, my weakness is not evaluating future positions accurately. Quite often I play a sequence that I think will equalize or give me an advantage, only for it to be overturned by a move at the end of the line or for it to just be a bad position generally.
Here's an example
With low time (blitz or lower) I just play like plain trash and miss tons of stuff, the weakest link is likely endgames. If I don't have much time I'll often mess up even fairly simple king and pawn endgames.
I guess ideally you should analyse up to the move AFTER the last forcing move. Easier said than done though! I'd say as far as blunders go that one is pretty understandable and your opponent played well.

Example: one move wins you a pawn, but forces you to play perfectly for a while to maintain your advantage (while inaccurate moves make you lose), while another move doesn't win any material but forces your opponent to play very accurately to keep his material (and not lose).
In every case I would choose the second option.
The question is how to estimate the actual difficulty to consolidate... It's not always clear.
For example, if as a Sicilian player you refuse taking the Smith Morra Gambit, you are a bit of a coward, don't you agree? It dosen't require perfect play for Black... Another example that comes to mind is the Neuman Gambit, or even some lines in the Scotch Gambit... If you refuse to take the free pawn you often end up giving them a solid positional edge, don't you think?
idk... The Neuman gambit is a good example because I never studied it and never lost to it... just take the pawn, brace yourself for some quick development by opponent, defend against it without much of a hassle, ez win, normally...
I don't like to deal with the mainline Morra as Black - sometimes it feels like my extra pawn is actually a disadvantage! Plus, there are a few good ways to decline the Morra that don't concede too much.
I had to look up what the "neumann gambit" is, and it seems to be some line in the ponz:
Material is just another imbalance, like development - you can have activity or some other kind of edge that compensates for a pawn or two without having any directly winning threats.

my biggest weakness in the chess is that i often can't find a good move...
some ideas what i should do with that?
Me too friend
I find looking at games of masters can help me play slightly less badly - maybe you can try that

I liked this video about middle game ideas. Maybe you will too.

Ginger GM lecture and chat. And he's very coherent, calm and low key in this one. Clearly being paid... Not into the lagers beforehand. Lol.

My biggest weakness is probably getting sexually harassed during a blitz game :/. But in all seriousness, my greatest weakness (and strength imo) are the huge blunder's I take during blitz games. If not seen they can lead to a quick checkmate, otherwise it leads to a quick defeat 😂.

It's like simplifying a math equation imo. Makes the game much more chill and enjoyable.

My biggest weakness Is missing one move mate, my and also opponents. I am thinking about attack, play other move to prepare finale attack and suddenly mate on my side 😁

my theoretical understanding and conversion, idk how to navigate through openings much and struggle with converting or holding complicated positions even if i am winning in the end
Another weakness is discriminating between several different candidate moves and being able to see which one is best. When I go back over my games I saw most of the excellent moves that the analysis engine does but discarded them in favor of an inferior move. Don't know why?

In the middle game my weakness is either miscalculating or just not spotting the correct moves. Usually in the post-game review I can understand the mistake I made, but in the moment I seem to miss it. I play 30 minute games but I still get stuck and spend way too much time in some positions. This leads to me rushing and blundering later.
I have a decent puzzle rating (I think) but the thing with puzzles is that I know there's a great tactic to be found. In the game I waste time trying to find a tactic, or just deciding to play it safe.
My endgame play is pretty weak. Unless I go in with a clear lead, I'm not at all confident I can convert to victory.
