Players here badly underrated

Why is that some players here rated below 900 are so strong and resilient and I look doomed to stay around 950, often less? In other clubs I can easily beat 1200 rated. ATM in another club I am rated 1350 (it won't last, I know), but 1200 is about right for me, I didn't learn chess yesterday.

Doesn't anybody suspect that sandbagging and cheating are involved? I mean, not necessarily using an engine, but perhaps accounts being used by more than one player?

You joined this website two weeks ago and decided to have your ratings start at 800. You have only played standard time control games and you have won more than you have lost, increasing your rating.

So, ignoring all mention of "other clubs" and so forth which I could make several more entire posts correcting, how can you possibly mean any of what you say above?

You seem to understand ratings are relative, so no worries.

If you believe that then why is the entire of the rest of your post an explanation of exactly that?

You're a lucky guy. Most people have to pay bb_gum to have him insult their intelligence.

This is not my first account (I know, now I'll be crucified for saying that).

But why is that when you try to discuss a serious problem, you get mostly trolls instead of serious argumentation?

I've been stuck at around 1500 for about 20 years, lol. There's a lot of weird things that I don't understand. But if lower rated players were cheating a lot, I'd be stuck at 1000, lol. I've had some real tough games where I've played well and have seen some moves my opponent could have made to at least draw or put up a stronger fight, but didn't. I'm not saying some cheating doesn't exist, but I don't feel like it's every been a real problem, at least not here.

I don't care if you have six active accounts. You still haven't given a reason for bringing this up.

The average player on this website being stronger than you personally would have expected is a serious problem?

You must see trolls everywhere if you're seeing them here. Your perception of who is trolling is what is causing this problem.

VyboR

This is a 15|0 game of yours, in which you lost. What I wonder is, were you in time trouble during the last 2 moves?

I know, I know. It has happened twice in hundreds of games here. Sometimes my mind wonders, but I still win more often than I lose.

Yeah,I agree with that.Anyone could see there was a mate coming

Anyway this has still nothing to do with the issue at hand. Some players rated in the 800 here could compete with players rated 1300 in other clubs. Why is that?

MDL4

It beats me to know how you people copy what other people say and when you paste it comes like that

MDL4

I can't copy like that

That happens when you write in the Android app. What you can do is very limited

Such stupidity going around...

VyboR pulls up a game and says that missing mate in one whilst simultaniously hanging mate in one all in one move is really really bad, obviously. However, he also says that taking a pawn whilst simultaniously threatening mate in one and a Queen trade when winning is also bad. Then, both MDL4 and Nobody2015 agree with this...

Lol?

I didn't say anything like that. I only said that I blundered, badly. Missing a mate in one and being mated instead, what else could you call it?

Say anything like what? What are you talking about? Can't you understand simple English? I said that you, along with MDL4, agreed with VyboR that 17.Qxe4 was a bad move, which it isn't true at all and is simply ridiculous.

Move 15 randomly hung a Bishop for no reason at all (somehow not mentioned) and move 18 is the worse chess move I have ever seen in my life, but why did you all agree that move 17 was so bad when it clearly wasn't? Because you're idiots and don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Intentionally bad moves aside, I honestly believe that I will never see a worse move played than your final one here.

- Missed mate in one.

- Hung mate in one.

- Mates aside, you also Intentionally did not trade Queens when completely and easily winning.

It's winning, but isn't moving a rook to the d-file better?
