Players who time out

Hello everyone. For the third time this week, I've won against guys who: + Joined chess.com within the last few days + Have played ten or so rapid or blitz games and lost most + Have played no daily games, so has no timeout record + Don't move at all if white + Move once if black + Come from the same country I now just abort or resign games immediately if I suspect the newest game is going to go the same way. I use the custom challenge parameters to try to weed these time wasters out but it looked like these can easily be circumvented by playing a bunch of rapid games. Has anyone else noticed a similar pattern, and what did you do about it?

If someone doesn't have any Daily games played, you are setting a minimum # on your seeks, and you are still getting paired, then that sounds like a bug. Live games should not count towards the Daily minimum used for customs seeks or tourney limits.

That said, the default setting for minimum number of daily games on custom seeks is 0 games.

I exclaim 'blistering barnacles!' or 'thundering typhoons!' and then put it behind me.

LMAO yes mate! Actually my bro recently got me Tintin in the land of the Soviets for my birthday, the first one Herge did for a magazine. All black and white, full of anti-Soviet propaganda, much more basic drawing than the later ones.
