well im not the best at setting up a draw but the way i try it is where you purposely watch the other players moves and then you try to put yourself in a position where you cant move at all forcing stalemate, moslty yeah thats the best way to do it, other then that you can ask for a draw but they barely happens to be a acceptance!
Well yeah next game you try, try that take time and think where would be the next best move for me to go to see if i can ake a force stalemate!
k see ya
Alot of times after making a serious blunder you realize your probably not going to win the game. In this situation many times i just resign and take a loss. I was wondering, the usual chess theory is geared toward the win and mating the opposing king. Is their any strategy to play for the draw when you know you have very little chance of a win. A draw looks much better on the record and is a has a much better impact on the rating. Not everyone has a strong endgame, anyone here specialize in setting up a draw?
