playing myself on alt account for free rating, will I get banned

alright so if I make a new account and play against it and intentionaly let myself win for free rating will I be banned, I have made the account but I havent tried yet, will I get banned if I do that?

Yes, that will get accounts banned. Multiple accounts without staff approval can get accounts closed, even if they don't play each other.

You can have alts, chess.com isn't going to ban you for it even though it's technically against the rules. Note - I'm not encouraging this, pls no ban martin. If you play them against your main you'll get banned though.

Yes, if used without permission.

Also, gaining free points this way is definitely a no-no.

If you're reported it's highly likely one of both accounts will be banned for playing each other's. Unapproved alts could also be banned if reported, even if they don't play each other
