I've had Chessmaster 6000 since it was new (Windows 98 SE). It has been gathering dust for maybe 20 years... Now I'm retired and am starting the long climb back to competence in chess. This week I purchased Chessmaster 9000 from eBay and have installed it in Windows XP under VMware. It's running nicely so far.
I'm wondering about the online game feature. Is it still available? I opted not to install the ubi.com feature thinking it was surely not still viable. But maybe?
