could you explain this tiebreaking system in a swiss blitz. Very complicated. 150 players played here were my numbers;

place score   1             2         3         4        5           6        7

101- 1419- 0/115 1/2/ 162 0/103 1/112 0/110 1/2/ 138 1/120

 3.0/7  13.50   (some players had another number here)

Well I figured most out if anybody is interested in the german server.

101 Place finish

1419 My ELO score

0/115 for round 1 is 0(loss) 115 (Place your opponent finished).

13.50 is your opponents wins (1st tiebreaker) for example I was 3.0/7 all of my opponents got 3 points. My total of my opponents for the seven rounds was 13.50 (pretty low in this tourney)

(some players had another number here) is the second tiebreaker if needed.  I still haven't got how that total comes about????

Arm-wrestling is how we do it at my club.

This is a good question for the TD -- but basically the stronger your opponents, the better your tie breaking numbers will be.

For example if I scored 5 out of 8 in an open event with 200 people, but so did IM whats-his-name and FM so-and-so it's certain I wasn't facing the same caliber of players, if there were a tiebreak, their 5 points vs other titled players would easily give them the win.
