When you start fritz, choose "Database", not "Play Chess". Then click "File", then click "Open". You will see the file type selector to the right of the file input box. The default is Databases(Cbh...", change it to PGN, go to the location you dowloaded the chess.com pgn file and you will see it. It then places the names of the games in the file. If you selected many games to be downloaded you will see many. If you chose only one game to be downloaded then only one. Double click on it, it will then load it into the gui and engine of Fritz. Then you can use any analysis type you wish. It will then save the analys when you close the fritz gui, as a new game, so two will be listed in the database view.

Hello. Please could anyone be so kind as to let me know how I can insert a pgn file from chess.com into my new fritze interface?
I would like to analyse my chess.com games with the new komodo engine and see how suggestions may differ from chess.com computer analysis.
(The interface looks just like fritze 12 13)
I bought it from the chessbase website but their customer support is aweful as I have to phone Germany which I cannot afford atm.
As Komodo 8 is renound for it's very good positional play (#1 engine in the world), I am hoping that I will be able to recieve better advice from just using the chess.com computer analysis.
There have been many times where the chess.com computer shows me an innacuracy and suggests a different line which either I do not agree with as it does not suit my long term plan or a line that looks interesting but that I would have liked to see a few more moves deep to clarify my understanding of the long term ideas.
Any feedback would be well appreciated.
Thanks very much
