Yes we often see threads here where some " Genius " asks that the Stalemate rule be thrown out. The main question in those cases would be: if these Geniuses are so darn smart why can they not AVOID the Stalemate if they are about to win the game Rofl.

No like for pro games instead of eliminating stalemate everyone gets one take backsy, like “Oh I didn’t see that would make it stalemate. Take backsy!” And the problem is solved.

Why would FIDE change a rule because a bunch of online blitz players freak out at it?
It would not make any difference: chess is a draw just the same
