Pls gimme some tips on how to improve at classical chess (from 2000 to 2200 USCF)

after reaching 2000 i think you must improve positional play and prophylaxis play, and study how to grind in the endgame, cuz 2000 plus rated people will not blunder that easily and only can be defeated in the endgame .... i am just a 1500, but i think my tip is okay happy.png

Really bad at endgames is acceptable, really bad at rook endgames is not

its literally like half of all the endgames you get

How does one go about rook endgames. I reached 1800 somehow and know barely anything about endgames

watch others play them + match them with general principles

usually activity > material

well if I’m “losing the advantage with white” i wouldn’t have beaten an IM otb with the scotch four knights

and I played the stonewall as black against an FM and drew. honestly I think it’s more important to not blunder
