Plycounter not accepting valid PGN files

Hello all- I am trying to add games to my plycounter scorebook and the website keeps telling me the PGN file I submit is invalid because it is more than 128 KB. The computer says the PGN is only 1 or 2 KB. Why is the website doing this? Occasionally I have had success uploading a PGN but most of the time it responds with the same error message. I have tried everything, but nothing has worked. Suggestions??

You should ask their support.

Their support is nonexistant. Thats why I am asking here.

I'm not sure how people here can really help with an error you are receiving on another website.

Main things on something like that is to make sure all the appropriate headers are there and the file is in plain text.

Their customer support seems pretty existent to me: "For customer support, please email us at support@plycount.zendesk.com"

I almost posted that but thought maybe the OP had contacted them and never received a reply.

I thought about that too and almost tried contacting them myself just to see what response I would get. But then I decided to be lazy because it's not my problem.

I have emailed support twice on other issues, no answer. Let's be clear - the whole situation is some sort of an odd deal between Plycounter / Monroi and USCF. Basically you get small companies that build custom hardware, get very restrictive software certified, and sell the package for 2 - 4x more than a smartphone that could be stripped down and do all of that, with a WiFi / Bluetooth feature set as well.

I bought my grandson a Plycount 2 a few months back and have had nothing but problems out of it!  It has finally quit working completely and the screen just flashes off an on.  Nobody at Plycount will even respond to my emails asking for support and there is no support phone number.  Unless you just like throwing away $180, I highly recommend you stay away from this device!!!

My plycount 2 is horrible.  Just wanted to say it again. Software bad, no user support (they never respond to emails), drag and drop interface bad.  Bad. Bad. Bad.
