Why only 9 days?
As its such a short amount of time I would just concentrate on one area for the whole 9 days.
That area would be the End Game. Read the books you have on the end game as much as possible and apply what you can. It may be boring but if you want to learn you have to study.
The reason I suggest the Endgame is because its the least studied among lower rated players so you can turn this to your advantage.
Your game strategy has now become simple. Don't go directly for Mate, trade pieces and play for the endgame as you will know what your doing there you will have a better chance of winning.
Simple, effective, maybe boring but a wins a win.
Also as you've only got nine days don't expect to much of yourself, chess takes time.
I hope this helps.
Ok well since I got little help from my last post, I have started a new one. Here's the deal: I need a training PROGRAM for the next nine days. Here is a game I played tonight along with a list of books I own. Plz do what you can. Thank you!
