I see that you are no. 11 behind 6 players who did not even play in a tournament. How does this happen?

Not being a smarta$$, I really would like to know.

It seem kind of stupid to have a tournament leaderboard that you can lead in and not even play in a tournament.

The method of counting tournaments is suspect.

The most recent medal indicates albatros1's 459 points came from a tournament that ended 2012 01 02. It appears this is the tournament that was counted.

The most recent medal indicates adrian_taylor's 469 points came from a tournament that ended 2012 01 03. This later ending tournament was not counted. It could be that albatros1's 459 point tournament was not the one that was counted.

In other words the information in the leaderboard is faulty, therefore worthless.

Entire leaderboard system of chess.com seems based on quantity.. Whether it is Team match, Vote chess or Tournament.. They should find ways to convert to ELO ratings or may be they want to encourage more participation quantitatively
