Points Not Being Refunded for Unfair Play

This for me seems to be a regular occurrence. I get these messages telling me my points have been adjusted due to unfair play against me. The outcome though is my ELO rating does not get adjusted as per the messages I receive.

The refunds will be applied in the next game in the refunded rating pool.

Thanks Martin so I need to play another game to get refunded. That's confusing but least now I know, regards
