Political interference at Zurich 1953

Bronstein was not allowed to talk about the political interference at this tournament until the 80s.  The Soviets' main concern was preventing Reshevsky from becoming Botvinnik's challenger.

Did the only three players from democratic countries - Reshevsky, Euwe, and Stahlberg - openly complain about this interference immediately after the tournament?  If so, it is not as well known as Fischer's complaints about Curacao.

they probably didn't, but it later became a long-standing issue with Fischer. And the problem of course is that even at the time, people knew Fischer was mentally ill, so when it turned out that many people really WERE out to get him, he didn't really get the support he deserved.
