play what you enjoy, the rapid pool still has plenty of players at the 2300 level, though the wait time may take up to a minute depending on the time of day. As for cheaters I just abort against new accounts to avoid them and for the most part that solves the problem. trust chess.com and their cheat detection, even if it is slow the cheater will always be identified eventually so dont worry too much about it.
Fascinating thread @blueemu, and beautiful games. I appreciate all the info in there, I'll start incorporating that into my analysis! I also looked into the article by GM Avetik. While I don't think the opening is my weakness necessarily, I do like that he presented the reminder I need to admit to weakness to improving.
