Depends on the position.
Knights rule in closed positions, especially when the active play is localized in one sector of the board.
Bishops are superior in open positions, especially when there is play on both wings.

Bishops all day open or closed bishops bishops bishops
bishop pair vs. knight and bishop game over
bishop pair vs. 2 knights game over
bishops = 3.1
knights = 2.9
since when can a mule cover half the board?
why do you think they're the first pieces dropped from the board, bishops are so heavy they're more like rooks.
All a knight can do against a passed pawn is block it until the king or another piece walks up to it and kicks it away, whereas a bishop can run far away and still defend the square. I absolutely loathe knights in the endgame. I just sac it for 2 pawns because its so clumsy...
But in the beginning/middle game (especially in bullet chess) its a monster that can wipe out the whole army with the sharpest forks.
Based off points, they're both worth the same.
But, I noticed many people tend to favor one over the other.
So the question is, which one do you like better? Bonus points if you can explain why.
