Poor Sportsmanship

Not exactly apples to apples.

The ICC (ChessClub) is a completely paid subscription-based server.  You can't get more than a 1 week trial before they charge you.

Chess.com on the other hand allows people to play for free.  I believe the VAST majority of players here are free / non-paying members.  

When people spend their hard-earned cash on something, they're statistically more likely to behave decently given the skin they've invested in this.

Yes, I retracted that from my post because it seems to distract from the point I tried to make. 

Apologies to all "abusive foul-mouthed people on servers" for calling them "morons". I forget that they are delicate little flowers incapable of taking what they normally dish out.

Yahoo chess - THAT is imbecile land. People are so abusive there that you blink 20 times when a minutes goes by without abuse.

You can always block people and disable chat. In severe cases, you could report them via sending a support ticket to staff using the Help & Support link below every chess.com page with a screenshot, so that they won't be able to bother anyone else.
