Everyone remembers to make new years resolutions but then forgets to check if they actually did it or not

What were your resolutions for 2025? Did you complete them?

Mine were:

1. FIDE Classical: 2000 FAILED

2. ECF Classical: 2100 FAILED

3. Lichess Bullet: 2600 SUCCESSFUL

4. Lichess Blitz: 2500 FAILED

5. Chess.com Bullet: 2600 FAILED

6. Chess.com Blitz: 2500 FAILED

I passed 1/6 of my resolutions which were a bit ambitious now I look back on them lol

You still have time to make 2500 chess.com blitz I believe in you !

Yeah I guess but I wanna take a bit of a break from speed chess. I got addicted lately and have been sleeping late lol. I'm probably gonna turn my attention to real chess now and studying

I have created my 2026 one in june when I achieved all my 2025 goals and let's say I probably under-shot. I should have higher goals to strive for imo, but imma stick with these ig. 
2026:
-2500 blitz ( 90 points away from highest rating)

-2700 bullet (250 points away from highest rating)
-Win a community tournament( My best finish is 7th)
I think they're very possible imo

What's a community tournament?

Fr, I gained i kid u not 1200 points in rapid, 1500 points in blitz, and I beleive around 1100 in bullet altho Im not sure. I played like 20k games tho and watched nothing but chess and read some books. Basically obsession at this point

Untitled tuesday, Untitled 3 min untitled thursday, community bullet brawl etc. You should play these tbh they're very fun and give you the sense ur in an actual competition lol

On the plan when I finish my O levels, or when I graduate high school. I just don't have enough time currently

Fair enough but the later you get started the harder it will be. Adults struggle more with improving

1400 rapid: Successful

1600 rapid: Successful
