If you could set up your half of the board however you wanted (while your opponent could do nothing), how would you place your pieces?

can we only set them up in the two back ranks or on any unoccupied square?

i play with my friend a game that you can set white peices any way you like on the first 4 ranks and the same as black. and it must be creative and beautifull, we don't have to play the setting we chose afterwards.

this is one of our games i remember.
