I think they make a pill for that.

I notice that some players in the 1300 to 1500 range will resign after incurring a mild disadvantage. I suspect they are mostly young kids who get frustrated when their plans go awry or angry at themselves for overlooking a simple move. I am not complaining; anyone has a right to resign whenever they wish. But I really think that chess is about fortitude and spirit as well as thinking well. Everyone should discipline themselves to take their mistakes in stride and soldier on in an inferior position. I generally play out a bad position until my opponent's win is quite clear and routine. If anyone gets a bad position against me, don't lose heart! I can screw up an easy win.
