Use chesstempo for tactics. You can study any opening you choose online, all you have to do is run a search. Check out the Exeter Chess Club site, there's a lot of good information there. In general though, practice tactics, play rapid games (at least 30 min games), analyze those games, study some of your favorite master's games and figure out what the plans and ideas were because this will help you in your own play with strategy and positional ideas. Unless you're at near master level or above, most preparation is simply practice with a few days break not long before the tournament, then come back in the last couple of days before it and practice a little more. I find it gives my mind a little time to absorb and refresh what I've been working on. Good luck.

Thanks for you suggestions

I think chess tournament preparation for a few weeks should be also physical. You want to really make sure you can focus during the game, and not make a simple mistake because of fatigue or something. In a few weeks you can't improve your playing strength seriously (or at least it's pretty difficult to), so I'd just say play a lot of training games at long time control.

In addition to other's remarks, get out an actual physical chess set and make moves on the board and look at the board when doing tactics problems online.  I find I don't see the diagonals as well on the physical board after I've spent a lot of time solely online.
