Annual  $ 2.49/month*12=29.88 a year

  Just telling you all the price per year on the Annual subscription, Chess.com decided to make it sound atractive without telling you the prices so I am  posting this to help out anyone who needs to know the price
   
Annual  $ 3.99/month*12=47.88
Monthly  $ 5.99/month
   
Annual  $ 7.99/month*12=95.88
Monthly  $ 12.99/month

The last one is 7.99*12=95.88

The first row is gold,second is platinum, third is dimond.

simple:

gold yearly = $29.88

platinum yearly = $47.88

diamond yearly = $95.88

we thought it would be most helpful as a comparison. we're better off if you go monthly of course :D on the next page it does the math for you.
