Problem filtering games within a big database in chessX

Hi everyone,
I'm losing time on chessX (on mac) because it won't filter games within a big database when I set up a position on the Opening tree. (Sometimes the Opening Tree doesn't even work). It seems to be working for little databases, but my general one is quite large.
Does anybody have this kind of issue with it ? I really like the design of this app and would prefer using it instead of Scid.
