problem in book

Hello,

I am reading chess camp 6 tactics and I am on page 83. It says Albins Countergambit with moves in the title, 1. d4 d5 2. c4 e5. then it says black to move find the best continuation. Then below this are six boards each with pieces set out. 

From the diagram, it looks like the answer is 1...Qxd4.

I have no idea what Kxe7 is all about.

there are a bunch of answers like that for more diagrams. i don't understand any of them. i don't think they are mistakes, i thought that was a way of showing a problem but haven't yet figured it out. 

its not that, its the problem with the answer in the book. none of them make sense on these opening ideas that are presented. does anyone else see this problem. the book has published what look like major errors in the print. if this book is meant to help children learn it has failed very badly.

Are any of the answers correct? Maybe they mixed up the answers. Check the 1...Kxe7 against other problems on that page, or even on other pages.

i checked them against problems on that page and none of them make sense. the answers to other problems so far up to page 23 are correct, from a beginners angle. i checked that page and a few others like it, opening and continuation problems. all the answers seem to be wrong. i think they are correct i just dont understand how i am supposed to work out the problem to get that answer

I haven't a clue. Maybe try sending an e-mail to Mongoose Press? Make sure you mention the edition and printing number of the book. Maybe they can help with the mystery.

You're looking at a PDF version of Sukhin's chess camp series, and the last several pages of vol 6 (tactics) and vol 7 (opening) were swapped.  Take a look at p83 of vol 7 and you'll see it is tactics.
