@dear_old_chessticles :
Shouldn't you be sleeping at this hour ?
1030 PM? Nahhh. I've got a good 3-4 hours in me yet.
Naw warries mate ...
Yes , I was thinking of New-Zealand time . You are either very smart or allready aware of this problem , but most likely you are both. No thanks anyway , have fun .
@dear_old_chessticles :
recovering from the blow ... Gee man , you know more about Holland than I do. I mean , we are just a blob on the map of the world.
@dear_old_chessticles :
Expressed in these (large) numbers , I feel somewhat better about my country. There is little poverty in Holland (yet) , but the population density of Holland is among the highest in the world and add to that the WA/R duo , you can imagine not everybody is smiling. It might look like a lot of money , but it mainly goes to the few people and compagnies owned by foreigners.
Now we know chessplayers are good at asking the right question to solve a problem. Lets face them with this problem :
Suppose you're in a TV quiz-show and you made it to the final. The price is a brand new car. On the stage there is a wall with two doors in it. Behind one of the doors is the car. The other one is empty.
To help you out a little , there are two advisors : Larry and Ted who know each other well. They both know behind what door the car hides. The only thing an advisor can do is to point to a door.
Now the quizmaster tells you that one of these advisors is always lying , while the other always tells the truth,but he doesn't say who is who.
Further , you are allowed to ask one of the advisors one question , a question that can only be answered by pointing to a specific door.
So here is your problem :
What is your strategy and what question will you ask to give you a 100% chance of winning the car ?
